Ayutthaya.

Asarin and Jim would be my guides on a terrific trip through Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, founded in 1351, and left in ruins after the Birmese army took it under a large attack and subsequent demolition and ransacking, back in 1767.
At an obscure hideout behind the tourist police office, we hired three bicycles for the day, and set off on a wonderful trip through the town, from one temple in ruins to the next palace, in ruins.
