24 december, aha, christmas-eve for most of you, but not as much as here on this part of the globe. Of course busy business as usual in Chinatown, where I decided to take a stroll and see what was happening. As a matter of fact Chinatown is still keeping rather quiet, and not much of the coming turn-of-the-year-action is getting ready to roll, a few Y2K-ready calendars are popping up, but I guess most of the real stuff will only get going towards february 3-4, which marks this year's chinese new year, and then these pages probably are going to be lit up with some fireworks I guess. |

Worthwile ate any time though are the ever-goodlooking flat chickens and pigs' heads, to be found at the foodstalls, just watch this lady's face, which has started yet to blend in with the precious goods she is offering this very night. |
