Dog Works.

Since January 8, I have begun to photograph dogs. The dogs in Bangkok have kind of a society of their own, they are autonomous, wander around wherever they want to go, and don't seem to bother with anything. Although some bear the marks of a rough life, usually there is some kind of respect, and I have barely noticed any of them getting involved in fights.
When I started taking the pictures, I had no idea what they were leading up to. Only later the images got entangled in ideas, sociological and religious.
I've been keeping a calendar of births(+), facts(x) and deaths(-) for almost 15 years now, and am more and more coming across many and weird coincidences in time and space. The idea of reïncarnation sometimes being part of those.
The images of the dogs are edited with events that have happened on the same day as I took each of the pictures here in Bangkok, albeit in a different year, in the past of course. I search my database for people who have died on that day, and basically could have reïncarnated in that specific dog.
The resulting images are colour-printed on A2 sheets of paper, and then stuck on the ground at various locations, at Silpakorn University, but also throughout the city. So they can go back into real life, and start a new existence again.
Sutee is also working with a calendar, a chinese one that lists predictions, and tells you what would be a good day for business, spiritual thinking, love, pleasure, pain...
