Spectators were allowed to visit 'Pampus' (an artificial island in a lake near Amsterdam) for one night. The island is a concrete and brick built fortress. One narrow corridor circles around, it has no doors no windows except in the room where it starts/stops. I rebuilt a garden tractor into a buggy type vehicle, which would drive through the tunnel all by itself. There was one headlight attached, and spectators had to follow behind the vehicle closely in groups of maximum 9 through the corridor. On the way underground they passed by memorial wall paintings with references to the Manson Family. |
