JOHN GACY,

Thanks a lot for your letter and the other information you sent, it looks like you're going towards an exciting appeal, when will that happen and how do you look forward to it. How would you react on life when it turns out you're innocent and a free man again, life will probably never be the same as before. I once had a project in mind where I would stay in a coma for a certain period of time, made by artificial means, and then come out again, to know what happens inbetween, wether you can remember anything from inbetween, and how the moment of reawakening would be like, wether there would be a gap, or wether it would be different days. I also wonder how people are dead and kept in freezers will react when they get out of those, several years before they entered! Technology and science make society evolve so fast that they must end up being mentally retared one way or another, or very weird people at least, they will be of valuable historic interest too, since they will be eyewitness to the past!

But enough of sci-fi now, I regret you think I am condescending to you, that is not true at all, in a way of course you will understand it is quite a thrill to get a reply from you, I write to so many other people from whom I never get replies that when one finally does write back it is kind of exciting. Of course my opinion is influenced by what media have reported by you, I don't blame you, but you can't blame me for that either, I am always anxious to find information on certain subjects and too bad I cannot decide just by reading wether information is correct or not, but I can say that personal correspondence wipes out any influence I had before, and my correspondence to you does not relate to what's written in any book about you, I'm not so interested to know wether it's all true, I just want to know your opinion on certain things and whatever comes up in this correspondence is fine with me, therefore I will gladly answer some of the questions in your letter.

We have just returned from a week in Amsterdam where we performed on a festival called BAR EUROPA, we did something on the L'AGE D'OR project, which is mentioned in the Australia Report I guess I sent you, this version had some more films in it and additional performances by some friends of us. Staying in Amsterdam was kind of nice, every night we went to eat in some kind of hash-bar, they served real good food for a ridiculous price, they also had a little counter where all kinds of people came and bought all sorts of hash and stuff for their personal supply, you might know some drugs are legal in Holland. Anyway, the whole thing looked like some take-away, only just drugs. Of course we also wandered around in the red-light district sneeking for some cursed child-pornography but it seemed far out and everythin extremely expensive. We also acquired a huge lot of books, and I even got a copy of BURIED DREAMS, but I have another line to read before that so it's not on for a while.
