I amsure things have happen to you in your past that you would like to have changed or made happen differently, but you can't so you have to learn from experience at least thats the way I would have to look at it. life is a learning experience as we try new things even if they don't work out we learn from them, don't you think so?
Thats an interesting corralation between being in prison and being dead and frozen, then brought back to life. I guess my position while I have been here life has gone on, but I have had the advantage of keeping myself informed by reading, and I do alot of that. I keep up on current events have learnt to paint and express my lighter side of feelings through art. Thats something I would have never done had I been on the outside as I never had time for anything with working 12 to 16 hours a day seven days a week. I guess its a second chance at looking at what my values are and which way my life was going. At the pace I was going I might have been wealthy but made not to enjoy life as I was always working. Now I have a brighter perpective on life and what should be important not just working. I was on a pace that would have led to an early death.. How is that for profound thinking? I was working myself into the grave and not even knowing why I was driven so hard to be sucessful.
Hey DDV, maybe I was too quick to make that statement about you being condescending in your letter, I am sure a person is surprised and curious about me if they get a letter when they didn't think they would, so I'll take back the remark and keep an open mind. I as a rule am not a judgemental person, but this last years of being in here has not been that easy with so many people writing to me and wanting answers to questions I don't have since what they know of me is from fantasy and theories about me. So forgive me and I'll try to be more understanding with you. You said it was quite a thrill to receive a letter from me, but if I feel a person is sincere when writing I do answer the letters. its the phoney one I Hate. the ones who think they know all about me and how I think just because they have read one of the trash books or have heard about me from the news media.. You said you have written to others without getting a reply I assume, assume which is bad to begin with that your talking about others who have infamous past, if not maybe you will want to explain. In this country we have several infamous people in prison and I have run across it from others where they say they wrote to Charles Manson, or Ted Bundy, Wayne Williams or Sam Berkowictz and got no answers. But thats them and not me so I don't know why they don't answer people unless they don't want to be bothered. Oh there are some I don't answer either, why?, because the letter is phoney or they have comments about something they don't know what they are talking about. So why should I defend myself to them if they want to be assholes and think what they read is 100% true then thats their problem. What do you think?
So I don't blame you if you have questions, and of course I don't hold it against you if your opinions are based on what you have read about me. All I ask is to keep an open mind and do your own thinking as at least 50% of what you read is not always true. in my case its closer to 80% of what has been written about me is false. Hey in nearly eight years I have never granted an interview, so nobody has ever talked to me and gotten my side of the story. When your read quotes claiming they have come from me, how can that be if I have never talked to them, you know what I mean?
