Again, that does not mean it's a favourable behavior, but then, what's so favourable about Picasso painting a portrait, a rectangular blue form with an eye somewhere in the left upper corner, and another one, much too big where the right ear is supposed to be, the nose far to the left and the mouth a red gaping hole? Could this be so educative for young persons? And yet Picasso is considered one of the greatest artist of all times. And, by the way, aren't stories for children quite rough, eating up people, putting children in stoves, cutting open animals to recover eaten children and stuff like that?

About the painting, yes I still want one. Since you sent me this picture of yourself for christmas, and the other pictures also included a painting of that picture, I wondered if you could do a portrait of me as well, I could furnish you a color photograph, and you're of course free to handle it the way you want, by adding things in the background or whatever. How about that? My waife is now also painting portraits, although she makes them live, people have to sit there for about 2 hours and she paints them with screen-print paints on perspex, we even could swop a portrait eventually, she'd do yours and you'd do mine, or even both of us, this year, april 2nd, is our 5th wedding-anniversary. By the way, my birthday is september 20th, 1959, and not 24th as you said in your last letter.

Yet it will take a while before we put out a new one, it's getting quite expensive,and it's also hard to find enough worthfull stuff to put in it, anyway, think about it and let me know.
