Hey, it's been a while ago again since I wrote you, sorry but I've been very busy lately, work, exhibitions, moving and so on. Just last week a very big exhibition of me and my wife opened in Vlissingen, that's just across the border in Holland. It's in a water-tower, which is quite big, 4 floors of som 100 square meters, there's a lot of scultures and machines and it took a week to set everything up, I also worked all the time for almost a month on a set of 25 machines, all welded frames with a motor and swinging knives. My wife's also in 2 outdoor exhibitions so we had to build some resistent structure for that too, for one I made a large metal frame and had it galvanised, first time I did that and it looks quite allright.

Also we recently came to know that we most probably will have to move to new quarters since the building we occupy now will be sold, we now live in a factory and we have access to almost 1000 square meters of space for something like 150 Dollars a month so that's quite cheap, and other places we've been seeing are either small, wrecked or extremely expensive, so I don't know what the future will bring. Then we have to buy a new car since ours has more rusted holes than you'd imagine, so that's also money, and like this it never stops, always some new stuff ahead to deal with.

So what's happening with you? How about your re-trial, are there any new developments or is the case 'sleeping'? Not too many news items reach the continent here, despite telex, fax, cable-network etc. I find the value of news-items rather poor, but maybe these recent developments in Eastern Europe are taking in all the spotlights. Anyway we plan to travel to Czechoslowakie next weeek and try to find some interesting locations, they have some fine castles and ruins and stuff there, also it's rather cheap since the standards are a lot more modest than in the 'civilised', capitalist West.

I've been thinking about the painting I'm still credited for. I think I should actually get a 'real' JOHN GACY painting, that is not something I want you to paint, but something you do by yourself, because in a way only those are true art, nobody asks you to do them but it's something that springs from your true self, so in a way I think it's more sincere. Since I now have a credit of 125 Dollars, I guess I could actually have 2 paintings. So if it's possible I'd like to get 1 "POGO THE CLOWN" and 1 "SKULL CLOWN", but, would it be possible to have them both on the same size of canvas, they would look better if I have them both framed on the same size. Let me know if this is possible for you. I'm sorry it has taken me such a long time to come up with this decision, but a lot has been happening in the meantime so I guess this could be a good solution to come up with.
