Sept 1989 Dear Club Moral I have FORCE MENTAL *15 and I will soon be trying to obtain back-issues through BIRTHBITER DISTRIBUTION in england. Meanwhile I have some xerox sheet of e sculpture by Dave Featherston - a artist studying at Rochdale college of art and design, although he may not be studying there this coming year - I am not sure... Anyhow, he has done this sculpture which is basically a metal frame with plaster figures like gargoyles placed in it. There are four figures to every layer. The whole structure is approximately 5 feet high and approximately 2 feet square. He has also done some printwork of the gargoyles, and I enclose xerox sheet. There is a female and a male. The male, though, especially on the prints looks the stronger image. I wonder if you would be interested in using some of the printwork as material for the FORCE MENTAL magazine, which I feel is the type of booklet that might be interested in this material. I wish to send this printwork to perhaps a few people who might be wanting to use it, but I first try yourselves and hope you will be interested in it. The artist - Dave Featherston - does not wish the prints to be used without his permission, so if you are interested, then please reply to me, and I will pass on to Dave Featherstone all the details, and then you and he will have to sort it out by yourselves.
