CLUB MORAL rvstd

The Club Moral rvstd performance night opened while Nel Bonte was already standing above the entrance of the building.	At intervals triggered by a timer, a shower switched on and off over her head.
While DDV was being interviewed by Thomas Crombez inside the exhibition space, Meggy Rustamova started taping the outside of the space.	After Meggy's heavy struggle with rolls of coloured tape, the audience had to break free or crawl underneath layers of tape.
As an unannounced mystery guest Johanna Van Overmeir setup a zinc washbasin in the doorway between the hall and the exhibition room.	For about an hour she washed her hair ritually to a soundtrack of jewish and muslim prayers.
In a separate room Mikes Poppe knelt before a plaster bust of a Madonna and hit her forehead with a heavy stone placed against his forehead.	When the plaster bust was completely pulverised, he wrote "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" in the dirt.
As finale of the Club Moral rvstd event, Sébastien Rien performed with noussommesquartevingt.	A gripping concert with live electronic music and computer generated visuals.
