"Attitude" se dote ici aussi de l'idée d'une stratégie artistique posant la question de la relation d'un certain public avec le rôle de l'artiste. Assumant l'idée que cette relation diffère d'une manière considérable en Belgique et en Suisse, l'exposition se dote d'un contexte qui implique involontairement des cultures de comportement. D'autre part le domaine intentionnel de cette exposition mine les mythologies personnelles ou collectives, trop souvent associées à la production artistique. Art avec "attitude" confond nos expectations de son médium et de sa location, suggérant une forte dimension performative. Dans l'exposition, plutôt la singularité de chaque pièce vis-à-vis d'autres est soulignée. L'attention est dirigée vers l'objet et ne pas vers ces origines ou vers la constitution de son sujet. Dans un contexte formel, l'artificiel est préféré sur le naturel et "être" est disqualifié en faveur d'une apparence comme seule réalité. Comme dans le domaine de la mode, le "display" performatif devient une congélation provisoire du regard, une immobilisation temporaire dans une économie libidineuse. Dans ce sens, l'exposition vise le domaine pervers de la rencontre, assumant le statut conflictuel et éphémère de l'attention.
