Club Moral is a sociable but also difficult industrial noise band that Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven started with her partner Danny Devos on January 1, 1981. “Dirty band,” one of my friends commented about them, with a degree of admiration. Club Moral, as the name suggests, was also a space. Run out of AMVK’s house in Antwerp, the club served drinks and ran towards the boundaries of the permissible with art, performances, and music shows.
